Lauren Piraro is a proud social science educator at her alma mater Gilroy High School located in Santa Clara County. Her professional mission as a teacher is to create meaningful and relevant history curriculum that examines historical events through a critical and intersectional lens. When she isn’t teaching or working on attaining her masters degree in U.S. History from San Jose State, Lauren can be found collaborating with fellow educators, traveling or enjoying a good book.
