SHORT BIO

After one tour in the US Navy and completing my degree, my career in the education field began. From working as a helper in kindergarten-5th grade classrooms to having my own middle school class, the entire experience has been a joy. An amazing and supportive administration and staff that is always encouraging and supportive have allowed me to earn an MAEd and both multiple subjects and single subject teaching credentials. Being open to new techniques, styles, and viewpoints keeps the classroom interesting and students interested in the world around them. This last year has proven challenging and has pushed me to learn even more about what is possible in education and has me looking forward to the new opportunities to learn that will come about in the next year.
